We have a passion for education

The word Bifrost is the Norse name for the bridge from the mortal world to Valhalla, playground of the gods. We're not Viking mystics or nude druids, but part of our studio's mission is to help build game design skills in young people.

One reason for this is to give young people an entry point into the games industry, but the other reason is that we genuinely believe that game design is a rich, challenging and rewarding endeavour, and whoever invests time in it will develop valuable skills and experience.

To this end we run the Valhalla computer games design traineeship, an extensive program that takes Year 10, 11 and 12 school students from around Brisbane and gives them paid work experience in our studio.
