We will teach you game design for free

Valhalla is a unique traineeship program. We take bright, motivated, hard-working Year 10 and 11 students from around Brisbane and give them paid work experience in our studio in the Brisbane CBD one day a week, for about six months.

Students are taught by TAFE lecturers and studio staff, learning everything from 3D modeling to animation to video and audio production. Students who successfully complete all the assigned tasks are awarded a Certificate III in Media from Brisbane North Institute of TAFE.

Coming in 2012: Our Sunshine Coast Studio

Valhalla Studios Bifrost are proud to be partnering with Chancellor State College, the largest school on the Sunshine Coast, to provide a studio which can train Sunshine Coast students.

We will have a base on the Chancellor campus which will house a small staff of artists and programmers, and will provide a space where we can train both Chancellor students and students from other participating schools. It is a unique arrangement - a classroom within a company within a school - and we hope to provide a unique experience to both our full-time staff and our trainees.

The studio will be up and running, including its first complement of trainees, in January 2012.
