I was born with my love for business, with my love for games soon following at about age eight, when in an attempt to shut me up on long car trips, my mum bought me a '20 games in 1'. After running gymnastics for PCYC, a dog walking business and two phone shops, I came full circle back around to games, founding Valhalla Studios at age 19 in 2007, which has now evolved into Bifrost Studios. My personal life reflects my business life in that involves adventure and pushing the limits, with my current goal being that I want to travel to 100 countries by the time I'm 30. It took a lot hard work, late nights and a great team but now I run a company I really love.

    Lead Coder
I completed my degree in Games Programming at QANTM College Brisbane in 2010 at the age of 28. I started with Bifrost Studios in an internship as a part of that degree and took on a permanent role as the Resident Coder at the start of 2011. Now 29, I'm married to a beautiful woman, and we have a beautiful son. Both are a never ending source of inspiration and strength to me. As a family man I must approach life with careful consideration and deliberate action because my choices effect not only myself, but my family. Despite this responsibility, I sometimes have trouble remaining "adult" at times. I still play games any time I can, and look forward to guiding my son through the eras of gamings history. I read both novels and comics, and as shocking as it is for a coder, I even draw on occasion. My one big weakness is Spiderman. I have had many strange looks from parents in shopping centers when I say to their eight year old son in passing "Hey man, sweet spidey boots." I maintain this childlike enthusiasm is endearing. My wife does not always agree.

    Artist and Audio Producer
After I finished my studies at Qantm College, Brisbane, I was thrown in the deep end at Bifrost Studios. I focus on all things game/art related. With 12 years experience in DJing, my self taught knowledge of the audio industry has giving me the boost to produce the sound effects for the majority of Bifrost games and projects. From a very young age I grew up with the late great Atari 2600, and with over 300 game cartridges in my collection I consider myself quite an enthusiast. People sometimes, maybe all the time, call me an Apple fanboy, I wouldn’t disagree. Since 1992 the only computer I have ever willing used or owned was a Mac, ask me anything about Apple computers and chances are I’ll have the answer! So I'm happy I now get to develop for them.

Art, drawing, animation, they're all something I've enjoyed since well before I started doing it professionally. I remember when I was younger I used to scribble in my room throughout my sketch books, the thought never seriously crossing my mind that it would be a career I could pursue. It's a passion that's lead me here I guess, working as the Lead Artist and Animator for Bifrost Studios. Should be interesting to see what happens next...

From the first time I played a game on my father's computer I knew that I wanted to make games. I would spend hours creating pictures, animations and videos on the PC and thinking of ideas for characters as well as games. Many people told me that I wouldn't be able to make it in this industry. But I followed my dream and through perseverance and hard work I came to work here as an Artist at Bifrost Studios.

My love of art and storytelling is nothing new. I grew up with my head in a book and a pencil in my hand. I love writing short stories and reading fantasy, science fiction and anything well written. I enjoy going to see live music and bands on weekends and in my spare time, and have recently started using traditional painting methods like oils and acrylics. With all of these interests, it is no wonder I choose a career in gaming. I completed a Bachelor of Games and Interactive Entertainment at the Queensland University of Technology, majoring in game design with an animation minor. At Bifrost Studios, I specialise in art and design and do 3D modelling and texturing for various games when required.
